Passenger Ship Crisis Management and Human Behavior Training is a specialized program designed to prepare crew members for effectively handling emergencies on board. This training covers a range of scenarios, from fire and flooding to medical emergencies and security threats. It also focuses on understanding human behavior in crisis situations to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers
Eligibility
To be eligible for the course the candidate must:-
1. Possess a valid health certificate stating good health
2. Possess the Basic safety certificates given below:-
a) Elementary First Aid (EFA)
b) Fire Prevention And Fire Fighting
c) Personal Safety And Social Responsibilities
d) Proficiency In Personal Survival Techniques
e) Security Training For Seafarer With Designated Security Duties
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course the candidate will possess the following skills:-
a) Enhanced Preparedness: Crew members are better equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations.
b) Knowledge of Safety measures against Fire, Flooding, Medical Emergencies and Security Threats:
c) Knowledge of Crowd Management, Passenger Assistance and safe and orderly evacuations
d) Knowledge of Safety and Regulatory Standards Compliance
