Previous Documents Evaluation (PDE)

About

SCMS Marine Training Center is authorised under Panama Flag to issue a Previous Documents Evaluation (PDE) certificate.

A PDE Certificate is needed by all seafarers who plan to sail on a Panama Flag Vessel by Resolution ADM No. 160-2016.

Required Documents

To be eligible for a PDE the candidate must have:

Seaman’s Book/CDC Book with Stamp Pages
Sea Service Letter from the Company
Basic STCW + STSDSD Course Certificates
Present Rank Course Certificate
Valid Medical
Passport size Photo
Passport

Procedure

Once receiving the documents in good order, SCMS will verify all relevant documents diligently
Once verified, SCMS would issue you a Panama Approved PDE Certificate.
