Course Details
The objective of this course is to offer basic information regarding
safe handling of food, how to reduce bacterial contamination, and how to
maintain quality levels.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the course the candidate must have :-
1. A valid good-health certificate
2. A basic knowledge of culinary experience could be beneficial but not necessarily required
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course the candidate will be able to:-
1. Acquire basic culinary skills
2. Follow Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in food
3. Gain understanding of proper storage, ideal cooking time & temperatures related to food preparation
4. Gain understanding of Hazardous food and causes of food
contamination
