The Liberian Registry has its own platform for issuance of Certificate of Competency (CoC) to eligible seafarers. Step 1 – Documents Review to apply for Eligibility
To proceed with the evaluation for issuance of COC, following documents are required:-
1. Digital copy of previous CoCs
2. Digital copy of applicable STCW Training Course certificates
3. Digital copy of Liberia Endorsements, if any
4. Digital copy of all Sea Services Records / Sea Service Letters with contact details of company as per recommended format.
5. Digital copy of valid Liberia Medical Certificate
6. Digital copy of valid Passport
7. Digital ID Photo (in color with white background)
On submission
of above documents and relevant application the LISCR shall advise the eligibility, accordingly the fee will be advised to commence the upgradation course followed with Examination process.
Step 2 – Examination
There is a written exam and practical exam. We will assist you in training and examination program.

Password and key to enter the platform will be provided by our training center.
Practical Exam
The Liberia-approved training center assessor will coordinate with you the exam according to the available schedule. The minimum rating you must obtain 70% marks in each Exam Competence of exam functions (Platform Exam).
Step 3 – Application for Officer CoC
